MORONGO BASIN— Southern California Edison is getting smarter. At least, the technology it’s using is. During a Twentynine Palms City Council meeting last month, SCE’s local public affairs manager, Kathleen DeRosa, detailed the company’s plans to replace current electricity meters with smart meters.
